D1 NATIONAL INTERCOLLEGIATE POLO CHAMPIONSHIP

NEWS RELEASE -- March 16 22, 2025--OAK POINT, TEXAS-

This week DFW Polo Association and Prestonwood Polo Club welcome the top 9 mens and womens college polo teams in America for the USPA D1 National Intercollegiate Polo Championship March 18-22 in the Prestonwood Arena, Additionally on Saturay March 21 we're hosting the 50th anniversay of Womens Intercollegiate polo with an Alumni game in the Prestonwood Arena. The seeding for the National tournament is:

Men:

1. UNT

2. UVA

3. Cornell

4. Texas A&M

5. UK

Women:

1.USC-Aiken

2. Texas A&M

3. UVA

4. Cornell

Wed March 18 Men's DI Quarter-finals
2:00pm: Texas A&M vs UK

Thurs March 19 Women's DI Semi-finals
10:00 am USC-Aiken Vs Cornell

6:00pm NIC Banquet at the Star (players & families only)

7:00 pm UNT vs winner of Quarter-finals

Sat March 21 Women's Intercollegiate Polo 50th Anniversay

1:00pm Men's final

Prestonwood's Spring grass polo season kick off next Saturday May 2 with our signature event Kentucky Derby Day
